I have heard it said that “it is no less important to reach the misinformed as it is to reach the uninformed with the message of salvation.”
Possibly the main reason that Jehovah’s Witnesses are convinced that they are right and continue to believe the teachings of the Watch Tower organization is that Christians do not challenge them when they come to your door.
I have spoken with a number of Jehovah’s Witnesses and ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses who have said that when they would knock and no one comes to the door when they know you are home, they believe you are afraid of the truth that they have. They rightly think that if you are a Christian, you should tell them what you believe and tell them where they are wrong. When you don’t, and most don’t, you are reinforcing in their mind that they have the truth.
You may say with good reason, “I have tried to talk to them but they won’t listen so what is the use?”
While it is true that it may be difficult to tell most Jehovah’s Witnesses anything, there have been thousands who have eventually left the Watch Tower organization because a Christian took the time to give that Jehovah’s Witness their testimony and challenged their thinking.
Perhaps like many people you feel that Jehovah’s Witnesses are just a nuisance. While that may be, they believe that they are practically the only ones doing the preaching work and that if you had the truth you would be going door to door.
I think most churches have or support missions somewhere in the world that carry out the great commission of Christ “ …and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Many of our missionaries suffer hardships and persecution while fulfilling Christ’s command. We have a mission field walking right up to our doors!
Unless you are someone who would say,”that’s not my job to be a missionary” which hopefully that is not you, then you have an opportunity to take part in the great commission without leaving your home!
You may feel that you don’t know how to deal with them, which is a legitimate concern. Perhaps the most important thing you can do is to give them your testimony. Even if it is not some earth shaking experience, or maybe you were raised from infancy as a Christian and you don’t even remember the time that Christ came into your life, you have a relationship with Jesus that you can tell them about.
Even a well versed Christian with good Bible knowledge can have difficulty answering some questions that a trained Jehovah’s Witness may ask, not necessarily because the Witness is right on a point but because you can’t put your finger on it to properly challenge them.
If you are interested in this outreach to Jehovah’s Witnesses and taking part in the great commission, we have all the rest of the information that you will need to talk to them. I am sure that if we as Christ’s people work together, we can help many Jehovah’s Witnesses get free from the Watch Tower organization. They do not have a personal relationship with Christ, as a matter of fact they don’t know who the real Jesus is. They don’t know that He will be their personal mediator if they ask Him to.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are a mislead people who are mentally abused by the Watch Tower organization and too often abused by Christians right along with non-Christians when they come to our doors.
Please consider this request to get involved and contact us about how we can help you to help them.

1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
